The House of Prayer for All Nations

Blake Bush

There is a way that leads to life, and few find it. Begin the journey by examining what needs to be overcome to prepare your heart for the journey of a lifetime.

God is always doing a new thing, and we can choose to participate if we want. Here is your invitation, and an overview of what is to come.

We start with why. Why build a house of prayer? The little needs to align with the big...the big idea of why God started this journey on the Earth.

God is working in and through His children. Discover here the Sons of Oil, His anointed ones knit together in a spiritual family. This alignment of people is critical in understanding how to build a ministry.

Jesus continues the blueprint of kingdom building in declaring He will raise up His house built upon prayer and mission to the world. Here we see that prayer is the central activity of the house.

The house of prayer is rooted in the tabernacle of David, which had fallen. God promises to restore David’s family, rule, and worship. Discover God’s promise to us.

Because David’s work is being restored, we need to understand what he did. Here are six key characteristics of his rule that inform our governance.

What David prescribed for worship was later reinstated by kings who brought Israel back to the Lord, thereby bringing revival. These nine characteristics inform us today on how to worship.

David established His altar, throne, and home on Mount Zion, God’s holy mountain. Discover how Zion and Jerusalem represent an important function and structure for us today.

Prayer is both the means to the end (the kingdom in all the earth), and the end. Knowing and experiencing God is primary purpose of the house of prayer.

Jehoiada the High Priest gives us strength and hope because he was a common man who did something extraordinary. He rebuilt the temple and the city and gave us an example of courage worth emulating.

God builds relationally, and places us into families. See how family ought to function and discover how God is building with sons and daughters, not orphans.

Priests first and foremost minister to God. This chapter outlines seven primary priestly activities in worship.

Priests also minister to people. Here we teach seven things a priest can do to bless the family and strengthen others for service to the world.

What is the effect of the priesthood? Why should we worship and pray? Fifteen reasons are identified here to answer these questions.

Kings serve and lead people. Working alongside the priestly anointing, kings carry out the Great Commission and the often - forgotten Garden Commission.

This is a call to return to apostolic team building ministry. When we learn to function together, submitting ourselves to one another, kingdom ministry walks in love, power, and authority.

We need to break the power of pretension, shame, and arrogance for God to fully use us. Ministry is not just about production; it’s about God purifying and shaping our hearts so that we are vessels fit it to serve a king.
